Abu Dubai -- Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) cooperates with Shell oil company on two Iranian offshore oil fields of Soroush and Nowrouz in Persian Gulf, it was reported here friday.

The United Arab Emirates media reported that ADNOC is to provide technical and accommodation services for redevelopment of two Iranian oil fields anticipated to eventually yield 190,000 bpd.

The reports also said that ADNOC will install two drilling rigs, two production platforms, two accommodation units and also bridges between offshore units.

ADNOC has reportedly started work on Soroush production platform  since last week. Soroush field installation is considered the largest
offshore oil production unit in the Persian Gulf. It was also reported that a consortium grouping Qeshm Sazeh oil company of Iran and Shell  would handle the redevelopment of these fields.
