The agreement signed by Director General of the National Media Council of UAE Ibrahim Al Abed and CEO of ANSA, Giuseppe Cerbone in Abu Dhabi earlier last year had called for news exchange and technical cooperation between the two agencies.
ANSA boasts a roster of eight million subscribers across the globe and the agreement provides for transmission of the UAE news to the world through the advanced network of the Italian news platform. WAM has succeeded so far to strike partnerships with a number of GCC, Arab, Asian, European and American agencies by signing 42 memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements with them to further develop technical and human resources capabilities.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2012.
