Executive operations manager of Abadan International Airport said according to Airports Mother Technical Affairs Company order, the airport has started to offer round the clock services.

According to IRNA, Ali-Reza Mansouri was further quoted by the airport's Public Relations Office as saying, "In order to create coordination among the country's international airports and to offer better services to the people in southern parts of Khuzestan province, the working hours of Abadan International Airport increased to 24 hours since Tuesday, June 1st."

The Managing Director of Abadan International Airport Kazem Naddafpour expressed hope that offering round the clock services in Abadan Airport would be good for the people of this region.

Abadan International Airport currently has 68 weekly departure flights to Isfahan, Tehran, Khark Island, Mashhad, and Shiraz and as many arrivals from those origins.
