Abu Dhabi, Aug. 27th, 2006 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority has published the first English edition of the minimizedtourist guide of Abu Dhabi The 230-page guide offers basic information on Abu Dhbai city,its history since the year 1760, geographical location, distancesto other emirates, a map of the UAE showing locations of theseven emirates, in addition to the most important tourist destinations and activities and hotels and resorts.

The guide also gives information on the biggest shoppingspots in the emirate, its cultural and social aspects, such, local dishes, traditions and daily habits.

It also offers information on dates and times of events, festivals,Eids and social life during the holy month of Ramadan.
