UAE, Dubai, 2 February 2012: As part of its commitment to the communities of Dubai, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has allocated part of its activities, events and sponsorship to tackling social and humanitarian issues and improving communication between all public authorities and the private sector.
To support this, DEWA organized a visit to Rashid Hospital, which is managed by Dubai Health Authority, by a delegation from Marketing and Corporate Communications Division in DEWA. The delegation visited different departments of the hospital and distributed gifts to patients from the maternity and pediatric wards.
"As part of its commitment to the people of Dubai, DEWA is very concerned about, and puts the utmost importance on, tackling social and humanitarian issues that affect community establishments and individuals. DEWA is participates actively in various social, cultural and national events, which have effectively contributed to the progress and excellence achieved by the UAE," said Khawla Al Mehairi, VP-Marketing & Corporate Communication.
