Shaikh Holdings wins eight awards for Sanctuary Falls at the 2010 Arabian Property Awards

Shaikh Holdings is pleased to have gained unprecedented success at the 2010 Arabian Property Awards. The awards are an annual event that recognise high quality real estate developments at the country and regional level, and were presented at a gala dinner at the Madinat Jumeirah hotel in Dubai, UAE.

For the third time since 2007, Sanctuary Falls is the recipient of the 'Best Golf Development' award, while also being awarded in the following country categories: Best Development (Dubai), Best Property (Dubai), Best Interior Design (Dubai) and Best Development Marketing (Dubai).

Across the Middle East, Sanctuary Falls won awards in a further three regional categories including: 'Best Golf Development', 'Best Property' and 'Best Development Marketing', taking the total to an outstanding 8 awards on the night.

Speaking at the awards, Zeeshan Shaikh, Chief Marketing Officer at Shaikh Holdings said: "We are honoured that Sanctuary Falls has won awards in a number of different categories and has been recognised for excellence at the regional level. Although the development has received international acclaim for pioneering the 'resort home' concept, a special highlight of the 2010 event were awards received specifically for the 'first resort home', the Sanctuary Falls show villa (SF-67). The villa was awarded 'Best Interior Design' and 'Best Property' across Dubai and the Middle East.

The development is now the recipient of an outstanding 15 regional and international awards, making it amongst the highest awarded developments in the entire Middle East. This year's awards were in association with Bloomberg, The New York Times and the International Herald Tribune.

Shaikh Holdings has also announced its support as the 'Official Exhibition Supporter' for the European Tour's season finale 2010 Dubai World Championship, being held on the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 25 to 28, 2010. Sanctuary Falls' villas overlook the Earth golf course and the project will be showcased at the Championship Village during the four day tournament. Other key sponsors for the high profile event include DP World, Rolex, Emirates, BMW, Ralph Lauren and Atlantis Hotels & Resorts.

Sanctuary Falls is unparalleled to other residential developments in Dubai with its exceptional approach to detail, quality workmanship and luxury resort living. Community and villa construction - Having moved from concept to reality, the development is moving steadily ahead and the project now stands at 70% complete. There are a total of 96 villas in the project with 73 villas currently under construction and at various stages of development. Sanctuary Falls is on schedule to begin handovers in the 2^nd quarter of 2011. The show villa has been completed and is now open for viewing by appointment only.
