Veolia, the global leader in optimized resources management, today announced the expansion of its Saudi Arabia operations. The announcement was made during the 5th Edition of the GCC Environment and Sustainable Development Forum (GEF) in Riyadh, of which Veolia is a strategic sponsor.

Veolia's new department in Saudi Arabia will provide environmental consultancy and technical assistance services including Studies and Project Management, Design and Works Supervision, Technical and Operational Assistance.

The GCC Environment and Sustainable Development Forum was launched in 2010 by the Presidency of Meteorology & Environment (Saudi Arabia's environment ministry). GEF, which has established itself as Saudi Arabia's flagship environmental event, has since become an important event in the industry, connecting professionals and providing a platform for knowledge exchange.
