Dubai: Three Emirati writers will soon publish their books on the culture, history and social life of Japan which they recently visited, the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) said.

The foundation announced that the three books being written by Emirati writers were the product of the Writers Exchange category of MBRF’s Dubai International Programme for Writing. The programme aims to encourage Arab talents to showcase their creative efforts in the local and global community.

Writers Mohsin Sulaiman, Alhonof Mohammad and Talal Salem will include intricate details of the culture, history and social life of Japan based on their experiences during their three-week stay in that country.

Jamal Bin Huwaireb, Managing Director of MBRF, said: “The Emirati writers have a clear idea about the final form of their literary works which summarise their experiences of life in Japan.”
