Another big building project, stretched out more than one million square feet, which is believed to add more to Dubai's internationally acclaimed architectural charm, is under way, said Eng. Yusuf Abdullah ,Head of building permits section at Buildings Department of Dubai Municipality.
Dubai Municipality is studying this grand building project to be implemented in Al Qarhoud area which is having shopping complexes, corporate offices and residential flats as well' he said.
He said the new edifice will add much more color to already acclaimed international attraction of Dubai. It is consist of 70 shops,25 offices and 280 residential flats ranging between 1600 to 2400 square feet in size. The complex also will have 580 parking lots, facilitating visitors and inmates.
According to him, department has completed the initial study of the project and has sent for detailed consultation and deliberations.
He also added saying that normally ,process to get license for multi-storied buildings would take 7 to 10 days, depending on consultations and due deliberations.
He said all transactions with department on licensing and other building related matters can now be done online.
