09 September 2012, Abu Dhabi, UAE - Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) and Rotana Jet announced today the launch of double daily services to Fujairah, Al Ain and Sharjah from Abu Dhabi International Airport, in an initiative from the airline to extend its domestic route network. This comes just three months after it launched the first domestic scheduled flight in UAE to Sir Bani Yas and Delma Island.
Effective 19th September 2012, Rotana Jet will be operating 2 flights a day between Abu Dhabi International airport and Fujairah. Double Daily Flights to Al Ain will commence on the 20th September 2012 and flights to Sharjah will follow. These routes will be operated by Embraer ERJ145 aircraft with 50 seats and comfortable 31" seat pitch.
Commenting on this new service, Dr. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saif Al‐Nahyan, Chairman of Rotana Jet, says: "Air connectivity is a key component of any country's development. Double daily Flights to and from Fujairah, Al Ain and Sharjah will connect to most of the international flights out of Abu Dhabi International airport. All inclusive one way fares to Fujairah and Sharjah start from AED 200 and to Al Ain starts at AED 150.
Coinciding with the launch of Fujairah, Sharjah and Al Ain services, Rotana Jet is also conducting a Facebook promotion titled "Fans Fly Free on Rotana Jet" whereby 25 selected fans will be able to fly on any of the Rotana Jet services for free.
