Dubai, May 12, 2012: Rehab Lootah, Chief Business Development, Products, Corporate Communications and Sales at Mawarid Finance has been awarded the Sharia Advisor and Auditor certification by The Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions(AAOIFI) in Bahrain, during the Annual Conference of the AAOIFI under the sponsorship of Bahrain Central Bank.
Lootah who expressed her pleasure with this achievement said that the CSAA program is designed to equip candidates with the requisite technical understanding and professional skills on Shari'a compliance and review processes for the international Islamic banking and finance industry.
Dr. Amin Fahih, Director of Menhaj Advisory which is conducting the training for the Sharia Advisor and Auditor certificate on behalf of the (AAOIFI) said "this certification is awarded by the Sharia Council at the AAOIFI which includes a group of Islamic finance and sharia scholars. it is designed to provide the candidates with the required skills and knowledge in the Islamic finance sector, after attending the training course and passing the exams which take place twice a year in March and September, the candidates are required to obtain 75% and above to get the certification.
