Dubai: UAE law firm Baker and McKenzie Habib Al Mulla recently advised retailer Marka on the Dh315 million acquisition of restaurant chain Reem Al Bawadi.
The Baker and McKenzie Habib Al Mulla team that advised Marka on the transaction included senior associate Melissa Forbes and associate Farid Haroun, both based in the UAE Corporate/M&A practice.
Marka plans to expand the presence of Reem Al Bawadi in 2015, with at least two new company-owned outlets in the UAE and up to five franchised outlets in the wider Middle East and North Africa region.
