The Lost Paradise of Dilmun hosted an entire day's experience for 200 delegates that were participating in the Bahrain International Travel Expo. Delegates were given the opportunity of zooming down rides, bursting through tube slides and familiarising themselves with the facilities available at the park, which include 14 rides and slides, the sandy beach, the spa pool and the wave pool.

Participating independently in the Bahrain International Travel Expo for the first time, the Water Park showed that it is an active player in Bahrain's tourism sector.

Lost Paradise of Dilmun's General Manager Paul Blunt commented, "As one of the major tourist attractions in Bahrain, we play an important role in supporting the industry. By participating in the Expo we continue to demonstrate our commitment to this important part of Bahrain's future."

About the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park
Bahrain's US$50 million Lost Paradise of Dilmun, the Middle East's largest water theme park, opened in September 2007. Set in 77,000 square metres of desert oasis, Lost Paradise features 14 of the fastest, newest slides, pools and fountains. Taking its theme from Bahrain's rich cultural heritage (the Kingdom was the centre of the ancient Dilmun empire more than 5,000 years ago) Lost Paradise and the adjacent 5-star Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort are the first components in the US1.3 billion Al Areen Development.
