A short film Broadcast by UAE Government YouTube Channel

Dubai - KalthamObaidBakhit is an Emirati woman who defied challenges to become a successful role model and inspiration for those seeking to achieve their ambitions in the UAE Community. She illustrates her inspiring life journey through a  short film produced by the UAE Government YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/uaegov)  that showcases the important role of Emirati women in developing the  community.

Kaltham, an employee at the Ministry of Health, had a traffic accident that led to her permanent disability. The film shows how this incident became a turning point in her life that brought out her determination not to surrender to anything that affects her ambition to be a positive element in the community.

In the film, she talks about that the rehabilitation programs offered by the UAE government that helped her to continue working in the healthcare sector, and contribute to the society, especially as First Deputy Chairman of Al Thiqah Club for The Handicapped. She is also one of the founders of the Handicapped Guardian Association and the Association of Empowering Women with Disabilities in the UAE.

The short film highlights importance of education and family values in the development of society, and shows that the road to success begins with the inner faith in the ability to achieve ambitions.

The UAE Government YouTube Channel was launched in June 2014 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The channel broadcasts several exclusive and innovative programs, success stories and offers a number of government services.
