Bank and green appliances firm tie-up to help save energy costs
An energy-saving electrical solutions firm and a bank have tied up to launch - what they claim is - the first Green Loan in the region.
Al Yousuf GreenTech (AGT) and Union National Bank (UNB) will offer loans to purchase energy efficient products from brands offered by AGT.
AGT's product portfolio includes indoor and outdoor LED lights, ACs, solar lights, light sensors and accessories.
Eqbal Al Yousuf, President of Al Yousuf Group, said: "Through the Green Loan service, our customers would be able to witness a saving right from the time of installation."
Mohammed Zein, SVP & Head of Corporate Business Group, UNB, said: "[This offer] will help the customers attain the energy efficiency milestones that will help them reduce energy use, save money and make a positive impact on the environment, while also improving the quality of their lives now and for many years to come."
