The UAE based company announced the opening of City Seasons Towers in Dubai, as well as plans to operate other hotels in the region

City Seasons Hotels is have just opened the 7th hotel of the chain bringing the number of their Dubai's properties to three. City Seasons Towers which is located in Bur Dubai, next to Burjuman Mall and minutes away from Bank Street and the metro station, is definitely adding a touch of avant-garde to the skyline of Dubai.

The hotel construction took two years and cost 220 Million dirhams. The strikingly modern property boasts 192 rooms and suites, a full floor dedicated to meeting facilities with a capacity of up to 150 guests and equipped with the latest technology in audio-visual/meeting; three outlets of which a lobby lounge, the New Season All-Day-Dining Buffet style restaurant and the second branch in Dubai of Pasta & Pesto, an Italian Restaurant concept- originally introduced at City Seasons hotel; a Health Club comprising a rooftop swimming pool, Gym, Sauna and steam rooms. A roof top SPA with 5 treatment rooms and Moroccan bath is under development. Other attributes are the Business Center, a Beauty Salon, travel desk and a Gift shop. Other luxurious amenities and first class services include Concierge, 24-hour Room Service, Valet and underground parking, as well as coffee & tea-making facilities inside the room, in-room safe, free wifi throughout the hotel as well as transport to the nearby Dubai International Airport.

This is the 6th property of City Seasons in the 4-star category, adding to the ones in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Muscat bringing the total number of rooms in the chain to 1555. Another 4-star hotel in Muscat is due to open by end of 2018 and will be announced soon; followed by a mix use 5-star hotel development in Rabat, Morocco.

This will bring the total number of hotels to 7 in the 4-star category and to 2 hotels in the 5-star category; this growth is consolidating the brand in the in GCC and North Africa.

Being dry properties, City Seasons Hotels have seen an influx of requests from Halal tour operators and agencies operating from as far as the United States and Canada. Beside the market in Asian countries, the concept of dry and family-orientated hotels is drawing more and more interest from travelers from the West as well as Asia and Middle-East where City Seasons are definitely considered a perfect address for leisure and holidays.

With that in mind, City Seasons Hotels are well positioned to offer The Dry Hotel concept to third-party owned Hotels and Hotel Apartments in UAE as well as GCC. The Group has already been approached by investors and hotel owners in the past few years but with several development in hand they had elected to focus on their own portfolio.

'We have projects covering smaller properties of 100 units and others with 400-room in across UAE and Oman; while some are still at the initial development stage, others are at construction phase and should be completed within a year of which an Airport Hotel which will be announced very soon", Demitry concluded.

In the coming year, City Seasons Hotels as a hotel management company will be steadily adding onto its portfolio some third-party owned hotels as well as extend its own operations to hospitality investors in UAE and abroad in preparation of 2020 and other future large scale events.
