ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) has received the "Special Industry Partner Award" by the Abu Dhabi Women's College (ADWC).
The award was presented to ADMA-OPCO on May 8th at a special ceremony hosted by Abu Dhabi Women's College, as part of the "Tamayyuz: Partnership Celebration".
The event was held to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of ADWC's community partners to the college.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology, patron of the event, presented the award to Ahmed S. Al-Braiki, ADMA-OPCO Public Relations Manager (acting), on behalf of ADMA-OPCO.
Throughout each academic year, ADMA-OPCO plays a significant role in activities that benefit HCT students, including sponsoring international trips for students, hosting work placement assignments, and contributing to various student projects. The company's support for educational institutions and programmes, which benefits several other institutions, comes in line with its corporate social responsibility.
Winning students of the 3rd Annual Al Khayal Award, held to recognize and celebrate the creative talents of ADWC students and alumnae, were also recognized during the ceremony.
