Dubai Real Estate Trends Report Issued by MoveSouq.com, Q1 - Q3 2015
Dubai, United Arab Emirates: MoveSouq.com, the leading home services portal in the UAE and Qatar, has just released their follow-up report that highlights the moving trends seen in Dubai this year. The report, which examines data from more than 2500 moving requests captured on the MoveSouq.com website, found that 60% of all moving activity within the emirate is to 10 areas in Dubai.
The initial report and infographic, which was released back in May, looked at the top 5 areas that experienced the highest move-in rates in Q1 of 2015, which included Dubai Marina, Dubai Land, Jumeirah Village, Jumeirah Lake Towers, and Downtown Dubai. The new report for January through September, sees a similar trend with Dubai Marina at the top of the list, followed by Jumeirah Village, Downtown Dubai and DIFC, Dubai Land, and the Emirates Hills community.
As the year progressed, Jumeirah Lake Towers dropped from the 4th position to 7th, with Palm Jumeirah close behind it at the 8th spot. The Jumeirah Village community, which includes Jumeirah Village Triangle and Jumeirah Village Circle, has proved again to be a very popular new residential area to move to. The same can be said about the Dubai Land communities, despite the slowdown in the move-in rate over the course of the year which pushed it down to the 4th spot. With its continuous development in the entire area, the community should expect to experience a high influx of residents looking to move in.
The 10 areas in Dubai that experienced the highest rates of residents moving-in during the period of Q1 - Q3 in 2015 are:
1. Dubai Marina (includes Jumeirah Beach Residence): 11.8%
2. Jumeirah Village: 7.9%
3. Downtown Dubai and DIFC Area: 7.1%
4. Dubai Land: 6.0%
5. Emirates Hills (includes Lakes, Meadows, and Springs): 4.9%
6. Mirdif, Muhaisnah, Al Warqa, and Al Mishar Area: 4.9%
7. Jumeirah Lake Towers: 4.5%
8. Palm Jumeirah: 4.4%
9. Silicon Oasis and Academic City: 4.0%
10. Jebel Ali Village (includes Discovery Gardens, Gardens, etc.): 3.9%
