ANKARA, March 13 (Reuters) - Turkey will "surely have sanctions" against the Netherlands, Turkish EU Minister Omer Celik said on Monday without giving details, as a diplomatic row between the NATO partners over Ankara's political campaigning abroad continued to simmer.
President Tayyip Erdogan, who is seeking support from Turks in a referendum on boosting his powers, has said the Netherlands is acting like a "banana republic" and should face sanctions for barring his ministers from speaking in the Dutch port city of Rotterdam.
