Abu Dhabi: Car manufacturer, Renault, announced it appointed Marwan Haidamous as managing director of Renault Middle East effective from August 1, 2016.

Haidamous succeeds Hakim Boutehra who held the managing director position for over three years, and was promoted to chief executive officer of Renault Commercial Romania.

In his new role, Haidamous will manage Renault’s activities across the GCC countries, Levant, Egypt, and Iraq. He has been with the Renault group for the past 10 years in positions that include chief financial officer at Renault Algeria, and CFO for Adriatic region.
