Dubai - PwC Legal Middle East LLP will host on 23 October 2017 the inaugural session for the Forum for Expatriate Management in the Middle East to discuss Emiratisation policies in the UAE, their effect on how organisations do business locally, their impact on operational planning and mobility requirements, and what we can expect to see in the future.

PwC’s global immigration network comprises of over 2500 immigration lawyers and specialists spanning more than 171 countries worldwide – making it the largest in-house immigration service provider in the world.

The Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) is the premier worldwide community for Global Mobility professionals  and supplier partners looking to distil best practice, make connections and get the latest news across industries.

Jonathan Gibson, PwC’s Partner and Legal Services Leader, said: “With the Middle East housing some of the world’s most rapidly growing economic hubs, businesses are constantly looking to bring in foreign talent to meet operational demands. In the UAE for example, 89% of the country’s population consists of expats resulting in an increased reliance on visas and residence permits.  With governments across the Middle East focusing on the recruitment and upskilling of local nationals our event will tackle one the most prevalent mobility matters in the UAE – Emiratisation - and will give participants the opportunity to share their experiences and best practices with others looking to formulate their in-house Emiratisation function.”

The session will include speakers from the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources (MOHRE), PwC and various other organisations.

Her Excellency Fareda Al Ali, Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources Employment and CEO of Happiness and Positivity (Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation)

Hamed Kazim, PwC Middle East Senior Advisor
