In a solemn step to develop its electronic applications

The Saudi Industrial Property Authority “MODON” announced that it is developing procedures of extracting building permits in its industrial cities and shortening the period of its issuance electronically to only 24 hours instead of 3 days previously; signifying that the process of extraction of permits is through qualified consulting offices those oversee the implementation of customer projects, through MODON’s electronic services (eModon).

Eng. Khalid Al Salem, Director General of “MODON”, said that the development of this service is one of the priorities of the “MODON” team to expand the electronic applications systems, in accordance with the latest technical standards and high quality; aimed at providing advanced and integrated services in their industrial cities, as well as the requirements of customers and investors and their expectations; besides contributing in realizing the direction of the State and achieving the Saudi vision 2030.

Al Salem pointed out that “MODON” has gone through activating its electronic transactions and its diligent efforts to keep abreast with the application of the latest technologies to achieve a qualitative leap in the style, size and speed of work. He stressed that “MODON” is currently developing new services and improvements in existing services, making it easier for investors and providing them the required land to do their jobs successfully.

MODON’s (eModon) system, which includes services such as (land allocation, renewal and transfer of contracts, qualification of consulting offices, approval of drawings, building permits, permits, Modon maps, customer affairs, qualification of contractors), aims to provide cost savings for customers and investors, to improve the efficiency of processes, improve efficiency and reduce waste associated with it, and to achieve high levels of quality in outputs such as information, reports, statistics, etc., and accomplish high levels of transparency by providing access to all information, reports and statistics of interest to the investor; in addition to integration with other government entities at the data and procedures level, wherever possible.
