Alstom presents its latest expertise and technologies in power generation and electricity transmission at the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) which will take place from the 21th to the 23nd of April in Dubai (UAE) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Alstom Grid's smart solutions will be showcased during WETEX with special focus on its e-terra energy management and DS Agile digital control systems. Alstom develops and delivers mission-critical control room solutions for the reliable, efficient and safe delivery of electricity, water and fuels for utilities all over the world. Its substation automation solutions enable reliable digital control and protection at the electrical substation level, compliant with the latest IEC 61850 standards. Alstom's local teams provide state-of-the art Smart Grid solutions, including integration of renewable resources, situational awareness and telecommunication capabilities with real- time monitoring and management of electricity from generation to consumption..

Alstom Grid is an important contributor to the development and growth of the United Arab Emirates delivering state of art and critical electrical infrastructure projects. It stands among the top three suppliers of Extra-high voltage (EHV), High voltage (HV) and High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Transmission equipment in the world.

Alstom Power, which features a large portfolio of products in clean power generation and environmental sustainability, will present its smarter solutions to integrate power generated by these sources by actively managing power flow and maximizing renewable energy availability in order to reduce energy waste.

The Air Quality Control Systems (AQCS) are one of the Alstom key solutions displayed during the exhibition, demonstrating how coal and oil fired power can be generated today with low harm to the environment, using leading-edge environmental control solutions.

We have a long term partnership and collaboration with DEWA as it is one of our most important client in the region, we recently signed three contracts with DEWA worth 62 Million Euros in order to provide 4 substations  in Dubai and we are participating to the 1st IPP tender of Ultra Super Critical /Ultra Clean Coal AL HASSYAN steam plant.
