“2017 will be a historic year for the Rezidor Hotel Group in the region as we reach a new critical mass and we are soon to double our presence in all key markets. This growth demonstrates the resilience and potential of the region despite current macro-economic challenges and we continue to foresee a positive momentum as we pursue our expansion plans with key regional partners beyond our 2020 target.

“We look ahead with great excitement to open the multiple planned hotels this year as we are due to launch flagship properties in different markets which will support growing our regional reputation and we would like to thank our Owners and Partners for their trust in the journey ahead,” said Elie Younes, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer.

“With the anticipated openings this year and next year, we are proud to see Rezidor Hotel Group becoming a key regional hotel operator but moreover we are delighted to create significant employment opportunities in key markets such as the UAE and Saudi Arabia where our commitment is here to last and where the growth of local talent is one of our priorities.”

“Balanced leadership is a business priority for dynamic companies like The Rezidor Hotel Group and we were proud to announce the first local female General Manager appointment in Saudi Arabia. Our group wishes to take a leading role in promoting diversity but also in creating the employment opportunities to nationals as another translation to our regional responsibility and further in alignment with the various government initiatives.” said Mark Willis, Area Vice President, Middle East & Turkey.
