The construction work at the Duqm Refinery project has crossed the 75 per cent completion mark, according to Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company (OQ8).

In a latest update on the construction of the project, OQ8 in a video tweeted on Saturday said that the overall progress of 76.67 per cent at the refinery project has been achieved as of December 25, 2020.

Omans OQ and Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8) had recently unveiled OQ8, the new brand identity for the Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company.

Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company is a 50:50 joint venture between OQ and Kuwait Petroleum International. Once the refinery is completed, it will have the capacity to process around 230,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
