The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS), the UAE capital’s prestige yacht, leisure marine, and fishing show will return for its third edition from 13 to 16 October 2021.

Hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) and organised by Capital Events, part of ADNEC group, ADIBS will be the UAE’s first boat show in 2021. This year’s incredible range of marine activities will also include boat chartering and affordable boating for the first time in the event’s history.

Demonstrating the future direction of the exhibition industry in the post COVID-19 recovery phase, ADNEC have already successfully held and organised mega events with the highest safety protocols, including IDEX and NAVDEX 2021 and the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, paving the way for the return of major exhibitions in the second half of the year. This affirms ADNEC's readiness and ability to host ADIBS in accordance to the same standards that contribute in maintaining the health and safety of all concerned parties.

Saeed Al Mansoori, Executive Director of Capital Events, said: “There is no other exhibition quite like ADIBS. For marine lovers across Abu Dhabi and the UAE, it is the perfect place to explore the waters and experience a diversity of leisure, fishing, and other marine craft. Additionally, ADIBS provides a unique platform for marine companies to seamlessly conduct business and launch new products. Finally, the exhibition allows visitors the chance to learn about the rich marine heritage of Abu Dhabi, alongside participation in different activities in addition to exploring the UAE pavilion, which this year will see a new look and feel.

Al Mansouri added: “We are pleased with the list of partners and sponsors of this year’s event, which includes Abu Dhabi Maritime, the strategic partner of the event, the diamond sponsor Gulf Craft, and the platinum sponsor of the event, the Captain Club for yacht and boat trips.  This year’s edition witnesses the participation of more than 80 exhibitors and this year we have participation from many different entities for the first time including; Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC), Abu Dhabi Maritime, Al Fajer Marine LLC, Belassi GmbH, and Gulf Craft who will display Silvercraft boats and Oryx Boats. Other new participants include Maori Yacht International SRL, Medasia Marine, V-Marine, Glasdeep, and JJ Marine, which will display a range of prestige boats, Al Futtaim Trading Enterprises LLC, who are the Honda Marine dealer, Six Marine, and Al Masaood – MTU”.

“At ADNEC, we are taking every necessary precaution to welcome visitors to ADIBS 2021. The safety and wellbeing of all participants and visitors to the exhibition is ADNEC’s top priority. We have implemented a wide range of precautionary and preventative measures that ensure the health and safety of all visitors and participants. These measures have been developed in close co-operation with relevant health and regulatory authorities. Following the successful editions of IDEX and NAVDEX 2021, organised by ADNEC, alongside the hosting of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, we are confident of the safety of all attending ADIBS 2021.”

Visitors can look forward to an impressive display of boats, yachts and products from UAE and internationally. There will be exhibitors also showcasing leisure marine equipment, the latest in fishing equipment plus on the water entertainment and other attractions.
