Dubai: Emirates District Cooling (Emicool) LLC, a leading district cooling service provider in the region and a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, has registered 355,000 tonnes of refrigeration (RT) by connecting to more than 2,200 buildings across the UAE, during the first half of 2019. Emicool has declared registering an increase of 12% during the same period last year.

With the current total operating capacity of 355,000 RT from its plant within DIP and MotorCity, Emicool provides district cooling services to DIP, Dubai Motor City, Dubai Sports City, Uptown Mirdif, Palazzo Versace, Damac Hills and Mirdiff Hills, Night Souk by Nakheel, RTA Metro Stations (Expo line) & DWTC at Expo 2020, increasing Emicool’s refrigerating tonnes per hour [RTH] production capabilities by 11% as compared to Q1 2018.

Emicool is working towards digital transformation by Q4 2019. Emicool Research & Development will operate first Unmanned Machinery Space (UMS) Plant associated with artificial intelligence SMART Systems.
