MARRAKECH- Morocco's consumer price index rose 0.2% in 2019, slowing from inflation of 1.9% registered in 2018, the planning agency said on Wednesday.

Food prices rose 0.5% in 2019, while non food prices increased by 0.9%. Transport prices were stable while education costs rose 3.1% in 2019 from a year earlier.

On a month-on-month basis the consumer price index was unchanged at 0.4% in December 2019.
