KUWAIT - The Kuwait National Petroleum Company announced Tuesday suspending production at some units of the Mina Al-Abdullah refinery due to the stoppage of steam generating units.

The company teams are racing against the time to resume operation at these units and restore the full capacity of the refinery as soon as possible, the company's deputy CEO for administrative and commercial affairs and official spokesman Ahed Al-Khurayif told KUNA.

He, however, noted that the exportation operations are undergoing as planned and had not been affected by the emergency suspension of production of these units. (end) ht.tab.ibi
