UAE-based du, from Emirates Integrated Technology Company (EITC), displayed the future of its ICT and IoT solutions for the UAE’s smart city developments by participating at a recent event in Dubai, UAE.

Du was the official ‘Smart City Partner’ at the 3rd IoT Middle East 2019 event which was held last week at the Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa.

On the sidelines of the premier event, du, in partnership with its smart energy management partner NXN, held an exclusive VIP roundtable to provoke engaging dialogue about the future of smart energy platforms.

The roundtable saw participants discuss the key challenges and benefits of energy management and how advanced technologies such as IoT and artificial intelligence can augment progression in this space.

Marwan Bindalmook, senior vice president ICT Solutions & Smart City Operations, du, said: “The role that service providers will play in the smart cities of the future is significant.”
