Doha, Qatar – Continuing its efforts to promote entrepreneurship in the Qatari society and to highlight the status of the projects benefiting from its entrepreneurship services, NAMA Center, one of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work (QFSW) Centers, is participating in the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) 2017, organized by the Qatar Tourism Authority, which was inaugurated on March 29 and runs until April 8 at Hotel Park in front of The Sheraton Hotel.

Over the course of its running days, QIFF visitors will enjoy sampling a variety of international gourmet food and drinks in the outdoors, where a selection of international chefs from many of Doha's premier hotels and restaurants will compete to serve the finest dishes prepared from fresh ingredients following the latest food trends, in addition to a wide range of healthy food choices. In this context, the owners of the projects incubated by NAMA Center will present the types of food they have prepared, as well as learn about the most popular methods of preparing local and international foods to enrich their knowledge and boost their acquired experience in this field.

On the occasion of NAMA Center’s participation at the QIFF for the eighth consecutive year, Ms. Mariam Bint Abdul Latif Al Mannai, Director of Community Services Department, and Acting Director of NAMA, said:

“Our participation at the Qatar International Food Festival has become an annual tradition, as it’s considered an ideal platform to present and promote the projects we incubate, in line with the overall concept of the festival – which acts as a lever for promoting community partnership and encouraging the community’s members and its institutions to provide various kinds of support to entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs – especially since it attracts a large number of local and international food and beverage enthusiasts and enjoys a fully integrated media coverage. Which is why, I would like to thank the Qatar Tourism Authority for its continued support for entrepreneurship and the annual allocation of promotional spaces for projects incubated and benefiting from our entrepreneurship support at the Center.”

The Qatar International Food Festival features a wide range of food and beverage offerings and is part of Qatar's strategy to develop and diversify its offerings and touristic advantages, in collaboration with the private sector. It is also a great opportunity for family members to spend the most wonderful times and enjoy a taste of world-famous dishes and authentic local cuisine. The restaurants at the festival offer up-to-date menus that allow visitors to discover everything new in the F&B world.
