Qasr-e-Shirin - Director of Customs House of Parviz Khan border terminal Morad Mohammadi said on Tuesday some 3.1 million tons of goods worth dlrs 1.673 billion dollars were exported to Iraq over the past 10 months.

Mohammadi made the remarks on the occasion of Customs House Day.

He said that the exported goods worth 1.67 billion dollars.

The main exported goods via the border terminal were cement, tile, fruits and vegetables, steel, dairy, petrochemicals and nuts.

He said that exported goods from the terminal decreased 10 percent in terms of weight and increased 16 percent in terms of value.

The director said that some 2.2 million tons of oil products like fuel oil and crude oil by 85,821 tankers from Parviz Khan Terminal were transited to other customs houses in the past 10 months.

Qasr-e-Shirin city in west of Kermanshah province by having two active borders of Parviz Khan and Khosravi has 186 kilometers of common border with Iraq.
