Dubai, United Arab Emirates: RIZEK, a tech-startup aimed at creating more jobs across the MENA region, has announced $1.5m in seed funding. The financing has come from some of the most prominent and high-profile investors in the region, including early backers of some of the region’s most successful startups.

The seed round will be used to build RIZEK’s operational team across key market segments and create innovative features within its technology platform. RIZEK was founded by Abdallah Abu-Sheikh, a successful Jordanian entrepreneur.

Abu-Sheikh has extensive experience in raising capital and building high-growth businesses. Having enjoyed early success in closing more than $500m in Aviation, Energy, Real Estate and Infrastructure projects, he is now solely focused on leading the growth of RIZEK to become a market leader in its domain.
