ISTANBUL - Turkey's unemployment rate rose to 13.0% in the May-July period, from 12.8% a month earlier, data from the Turkish Statistical Institute showed on Monday.

The non-agricultural unemployment rate rose to 15.3% from 15% a month earlier, the data showed.

The unemployment rate had surged to 14.7% in the December-February period, its highest level in a decade. In the May-July period last year, unemployment stood at 10.2%.
