Manama, Bahrain: Batelco, in line with its efforts to support youth initiatives, recently took part in Bahrain Future Learning Summit as the event Prime Sponsor. The event highlighted the importance of taking a modern approach to learning and was held at St Christopher’s School, Saar.

The two-day event was the first of its kind, and aimed to connect students, parents, educators and global innovators to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and explore the requirements to be future ready in the modern digital world. The Future Learning Summit saw attendance from students both locally and regionally.

The summit also included keynote speeches by inspiring international speakers, Ben Towers and James Sanders who spoke on the topic of how to be successful in the 21st century. Additionally, a number of workshops and interactive presentations were delivered covering the topics of Entrepreneurship, Gamification, Digital Parenting, Mindfulness and Wellbeing, Growth Mindset, Google Apps, STEAM/STEAM, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Literacy and 21st Century Workforce Skills.

Batelco strongly believes in empowering youth and continues to support the education sector in order to assist in achieving a bright and prosperous future.
