Dubai: Union Insurance Company said it has launched MaxMedical, a unique high-end international health insurance product, in the UAE.
Designed in cooperation with BDAE Expat Consultancy and reinsured by Allianz, MaxMedical combines comprehensive benefits with worldwide geographical coverage, extensive network of service providers and the highest aggregate limits.
“We are proud to be working closely with BDAE to introduce such an unprecedented health insurance scheme,” says Abdul Muttaleb Al Jaedi, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Union Insurance Company.
“Through MaxMedical, we will be able to further increase our penetration in the health insurance market in the UAE as well as continue to provide flexible, added-value innovative products.”
The new product comes with the first- of- its- kind dormant option that allows policyholders to make the policy inactive for as long as they need while they are insured with their employer. Customers can also choose to add a dental cover to MaxMedical to avail of MaxDent. MaxMedical is in accordance with the UAE regulatory bodies and is debuting in the UAE. It will soon be available to residents of other countries in the region.
