JEDDAH: Saudi Aramco said it has financed building 63,000 houses for Saudis through the citizen house owning program implemented by the company.

The company said it has granted 1,037 loans to Saudis to build new houses in 2014, stressing that this program helps increase the quality of life for its employees and helps build active and viable communities.

Saudi Aramco stressed that 2014 saw the start of the largest expansion of the housing neighborhood in Dhahran in three decades. Last year also saw progress in plans to build a new housing neighborhood that is a sustainable model near Dhahran.

The company says that it continues to implement an important program that is an integral part of the company's heritage to help its Saudi employees achieve their dreams of owning houses.
