AJMAN- The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry has discussed with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, CCPIT, affiliated with China International Chamber of Commerce, ways of joint cooperation and means to enhance trade between the two parties.

At a meeting Salem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Ajman Chamber, and CCPIT Representative and head of the delegation, discussed the possibility of cooperation in a number of sectors, and to take benefit from the experiences of the parties. "The trade between the UAE and China underscores the depth of economic relations between the two countries," Al Suwaidi said, emphasising Ajman Chamber's keenness to enhance its contacts and establish foreign relations to provide investment opportunities and increase trade exchange to serve all parties under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and the follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, as well as provide the necessary facilities that will increase the sustainability of all industrial, commercial and tourism fields. The parties affirmed the need to organise joint meetings between investors and to view the most important trading opportunities.

The meeting also reviewed some of the important exhibitions in which they can participate and enhance joint cooperation.

The two sides reiterated the need to prepare a draft memorandum of understanding to ensure future cooperation and the possibility of holding events and exhibitions.
