SINGAPORE -
* Qatar Petroleum (QP) has sold two cargoes of February-loading al-Shaheen crude at an average premium of $3.66 a barrel to Dubai quotes via a spot tender, trade sources said on Thursday
* QP also set the al-Shaheen crude price for term buyers at a premium of $3.74 a barrel to Dubai quotes
* The spot cargo buyers were likely HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited and JX Nippon Oil
* The two 500,000-barrel cargoes were offered to load over Feb. 2-3 and Feb. 26-27
* Last month, QP sold three cargoes of January-loading al-Shaheen crude at an average premium of around $3.70 a barrel to Dubai quotes via a spot tender, and set the price for term buyers at a premium of $3.79 a barrel to Dubai quotes, the highest on record
