Riyadh –   Saudi Arabia's National Water Company (NWC) has completed one of the water strategic plan (phase one) projects in Riyadh city, connecting tanks located in the southern and western parts of the city through main water lines spanning around 31 kilometres long.

Nine districts in the city will benefit from the new achievement. The project, valued at more than SAR 313 million, will support and improve operational efficiency and achieve sustainable water security, according to a press release on Sunday.

The water company reiterated that it will continue implementing some of the previously-planned water and environmental projects in a bid to increase services coverage rates.
