RABAT, April 18 (Reuters) - Qatar's government has no plans to make an international bond or sukuk issue this year, a Qatari official told Reuters on Tuesday, speaking on the sidelines of a meeting of Arab finance officials in Morocco.

The official declined to be named under briefing rules.

A rebound in oil and gas prices over recent months has eased pressure on Qatari state finances, while the government has continued to make domestic issues of bonds to cover its budget deficit; on Monday the central bank said it had sold 5.575 billion riyals ($1.53 billion) of domestic government bonds.
