This year, in line with the conference theme ‘Patients First- Back to Basics’ for ARM, we aim to put the spotlight back on ‘patients’ and intend to focus our efforts on ensuring that the best diagnostic image is provided for patients, which will be greatly helpful in the treatment of the disease in a fast and effective manner.”

He added, “With the advent of technology and improvement in the clarity of images and the quality of radiology reports, radiology departments all over the world are increasingly playing a central role in any hospital or medical center. The UAE has certainly recognized the significance of radiology and over the years a lot of investment is diverted towards training and education of staff members, particularly in the use of new technologies for patient management. This year, the conference features the presence of top expert speakers in radiology, who will offer their wisdom on issues that are critically important in radiology including chest X ray, imaging of musculoskeletal diseases, breast and liver imaging in addition to giving delegates a chance to earn valuable CME points through their participation in ARM.”
