Citi launches eight currencies in one Debit MasterCard with Citibank Global Wallet

Citi introduced today PayAll and Global Wallet features to its newly revamped Citi Mobile® App: In a first by a bank in the UAE, Global Wallet is a new feature that allows customers to make purchases overseas without incurring additional currency conversion charges. Citi PayAll is a service that allows customers to use their credit cards to make big payments and earn rewards through the mobile application.

Citibank Global Wallet: How it works? Simple.

If you are planning a trip abroad there is no more hassle of waiting in queues at currency exchanges or the risk of travelling with wads of cash. All you have to do is turn on Global Wallet on the Citi Mobile® app and add your foreign currency accounts, which will then instantly link to your Citibank Debit MasterCard®.  The Citibank Debit MasterCard® will automatically switch to the currency you are transacting in, allowing you to shop without incurring any extra fees. You can access up to eight foreign currencies on your card and top up your currencies when you find exchange rates favorable.

Citi PayAll: a credit card that can Pay All your expenses

Citi Credit Card holders can also, earn airline miles, reward points or cashback on large one-time or recurring payments like your rent, with the new Citi PayAll feature, all for just a small fee.  Citi PayAll supports large recurring payments above AED 1,000 like rent, education fees and property maintenance fees wherever card payments are not accepted today, turning big spends into equally big rewards that customers can redeem for free flights or  upgrades, merchandise or cashback. And, setting up the payment is so easy with just a few taps.

Citi Pay with Points: pay for transactions with points on the go

Citi will also introduce soon a new convenient redemption option which allows cardholders to instantly pay for purchases made with their Citi credit cards by using their Citi reward points or miles  through the Citi Mobile® App in just a few clicks. This new feature makes it even easier for customers to redeem their reward points.
