Seef Properties, a leading developer in Bahrain, has partnered with Arab Financial Services (AFS), a top payment solutions provider in the Mena region, to launch Bahrain’s first digital gift card service by the third quarter (Q3) of 2020.

Seef Properties appointed AFS to design and develop the mobile application and manage its electronic financial operations. Once the mobile application is launched, Seef Mall customers will benefit from the card’s features which include virtual prepaid gift cards that can be utilized across all outlets at Seef Mall – Seef District, Muharraq and Isa Town - or sent electronically to friends and family.

Chief executive officer (CEO) of Seef Properties, Ahmed Yusuf, said: “This step comes as part of our aim to constantly elevate our offerings as we deliver on our promise of providing an immersive customer experience. In view of the rapid digital developments, it is vital to provide our customers with a solution that provides the very highest levels of comfort and convenience.

“Through this application, we will be enabling our customers to share gift cards with their friends and family, further enhancing their shopping experience.”
