The second agreement with Ajman Free Zone calls for installing chargers for electric vehicles in designated areas in the Free Zone, which will be free of charge until 2020. At a later stage, additional charging stations will be installed in the northern emirates.

“The Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition is a global platform that provides access to the latest technologies and breakthroughs in renewable energy,” said H.E. This is in line with the directives of our wise leadership, who always places people at the top of its priorities, and calls for ensuring their wellbeing.”

“The agreements are a milestone reflecting the dedication among government agencies, both at the federal and local levels, in implementing strategies that achieve a sustainable present and a green future,” H.E. Saleh concluded.

For his part, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, said that the Department is seeking, under the direct guidance of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, to streamline current and future coordination with all federal authorities, including the Federal Electricity and Water Authority.
