Manama: City Centre Bahrain, the premier shopping, entertainment and lifestyle destination in the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlights its commitment to fostering the Kingdom’s culture and traditions by hosting its annual ‘Gergaoun’ celebration in conjunction with the Ministry of Social Development, creating great moments for visitors, on 16 May, 2019.

City Centre Bahrain invites visitors, especially children to arrive dressed in their best traditional clothes and take part in the festivities. Little ones are invited to the mall’s Central Galleria to enjoy singing songs, marching along to the beats of a live traditional Bahraini band and to dance along with the traditional mascots. Children will tour the mall with the main ‘Fraisah’ (a traditional figure of the festival) for Gergaoun celebrations, to collect Gergaoun, goodie bags full of treats, from City Centre Bahrain and its participating retailers.

During its 13th ‘Make a Difference’ campaign visitors are encouraged to donate gently used clothes, books, toys and non-perishable food items at the special Donation Station located near Gate 4, on the ground floor.

City Centre Bahrain invites visitors to enjoy the soothing and spiritual ambiance and the beautiful back drop of Ramadan themed décor.
