SALENTO-STYLE COFFEE
An iced drink based on coffee and almond milk – a fresh guilty pleasure from Southern Italy
Key tip: start preparing it a few hours in advance, so the milk has time to freeze
Ingredients:
- 1 espresso cup of Lavazza coffee
- 300 ml water
- 100 grams almond milk syrup
Preparation method
- To prepare the almond ice cubes dilute almond-milk syrup with cold water.
- Then Pour into the ice-cube mould and place in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
- Prepare an espresso with Lavazza coffee, with a mocha pot or espresso machine.
- Turn the cubes of almond milk out of the mould and put 6 or 7 in a large glass.
- Pour the hot coffee over the ice without sweetening.
Presentation: Serve the Salento-Style coffee in a tumbler – and the first sip will immediately bring you to Southern Italy!
ICED MOCHA
The classic combination of cream and chocolate blends with the taste of coffee
Ingredients:
- 1 espresso cup of Lavazza coffee
- Milk
- Cocoa
- Sugar
- Chocolate
- Whipped cream
Preparation method:
- Bring 1 litre of milk to the boil.
- Add cocoa and sugar, then lower the heat
- Reduce the chocolate for 10 minutes or more, depending on the desired consistency. Then let it cool.
- In the meantime, prepare the coffee.
- Put the ice in a tumbler, mix the cold chocolate with 50 ml of milk, and pour the mixture onto the ice.
- Pour the coffee and top with whipped cream.
VANILLA ICED COFFEE
A refreshing drink where coffee aroma and vanilla sweetness harmoniously blend!
Ingredients:
- 1 espresso cup of Lavazza coffee
- 150 ml milk
- 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
- 6/8 coffee (mocha pot) ice cubes
Preparation method
- To prepare the coffee ice cubes, take the ice moulds, and pour in the coffee.
- It is important not to sweeten the coffee otherwise it will not freeze.
- Fill a 300 ml tumbler with the coffee ice cubes and pour in 250 ml of milk.
- Prepare, then dissolve the vanilla syrup into the coffee.
- Then pour it over the milk and the ice. Your Vanilla Iced Latte is ready!
