The National Sterilisation Programme in Abu Dhabi will, from Saturday (May 30), run from 10pm until 6am across all residential areas, industrial zones and workers' accommodation.
Food outlets, cooperatives, grocery stores, supermarkets and pharmacies are permitted to open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The nation-wide sterilisation programme, which has been implemented to help curb the spread of the coronavirus, was previously taking place between 6pm to 6am from Wednesday, May 20.
