Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE's Minister of Tolerance, Sheikh Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan, said that the UAE is set to become one of the world’s leaders in creating a knowledge society and a knowledge-based economy, according to a recent press release.

The announcement was made on the sidelines of the seventh Global Education and Skills Forum (GESF), which kicked off on 23 March, organised by Varkey Foundation.

Al Nahyan asserted the importance of the forum for the UAE in helping the country meet its development objectives.

“Our interactions with accomplished world thinkers and leaders will help support our national goals. They make us more efficient and they help us reach our potential,” Al Nahyan added.

Hosting up to 1,500 delegates, the two-day event is an essential platform for collaboration and problem-solving.

It is worth noting that the GESF 2019 partners are the African Development Bank, Dubai Cares, Jacobs Foundation, Co-Impact, Junior Achievement (JA Worldwide), Education International, Teach For All, UCL Institute of Education, UNESCO, and Malala Fund among others.
