ArabFinance: State-run Tahya Misr Fund is earmarking EGP 1 billion to support vulnerable families across Egypt during the winter season, as per President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives, according to a November 8thstatement.

The financial assistance will be used to purchase food, clothes, and equipment for about 1 million people, Spokesman of the Egyptian Presidency Bassam Rady noted.

The allotment will also fund medical devices in hospitals and universities, while providing equipment to individuals working in the handicrafts and fishing industries, Rady added.

Tahya Misr has been supporting different causes in Egypt, whether in the medical, educational, or housing sectors.
